Who hasn’t sent a message when autocorrect changed the whole meaning of your subject matter? That could be dangerous. I’m very grateful for spell-checking technology. My spelling is so bad at times, it isn’t even close enough to recognize what I’m trying to say.
While I’m grateful for autocorrect, I don’t care to be corrected in front of others. It can be embarrassing. Yet I can’t think of a better way to grow.
“My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.” (Proverbs 3:11-12)
As I spent some time with the Lord today, He showed me some errors I had made. Sometimes, it’s not what you are doing or even saying. Perhaps it’s what you are thinking. I’m so thankful God is gentle and patient. I want the Lord to correct me, so maybe you won’t have to. Let’s grow together.
